Since our founding, we have run experimental tests for hundreds of progressive organizations, campaigns, and political groups.

Our Mission

Analyst Institute’s goal is for all progressive political and social justice campaigns to be informed by rigorous evidence.
 
We collaborate with progressive organizations and Democratic campaigns around the country to measure and increase the impact of their programs. These research collaborations can then inform future efforts across the progressive movement, giving our side a competitive advantage.
 
As a clearinghouse for evidence on voter contact and engagement programs, we collect, synthesize, and interpret research in order to make evidence-based recommendations to the progressive community through materials, trainings, and consulting.
 
Reflecting the advances in research across the movement, we facilitate and convene opportunities for sharing findings and research methods, especially among data analysts, consultants, and campaign professionals.

Generous paid time off

We ensure staff are able to step away from work when needed and maintain a healthy work/life balance with generous vacation and sick leave and over 20 paid holidays per year.

Flexible work hours

In order to accommodate staff across multiple time zones, we limit the number of hours per day when all staff are expected to be online and available for meetings, and staff may still step away during "core working hours" as needed to juggle responsibilities outside of work and take care of themselves.

401(k) plan

After six months of employment, staff are eligible for an employer-matching 401(k) plan.

We provide 12 work weeks of paid parental leave, which may be taken intermittently or continuously.
